Kajal Agarwal is an Indian film actress and model, who primarily appears in Tamil and Telugu language films. She was born on June 19, 1985 in Mumbai, her father Vinay Agarwal is an entrepreneur and mother Suman Agarwal is a confectioner. Kajal started her career in modelling at a very young age while she was still in college. She was planning to pursue her MBA in Brand Management before deciding to take up acting as her career.
Kajal made her film debut in the year 2004 in Bollywood film Kyun...! Ho Gaya Na and then entered the South film industry through the film Lakshmi Kalyanam in 2007. Her first commercial successful film was Chandamama in 2007 and then later was acclaimed as a successful actress after her performance in Magadheera (2009), which remains her biggest commercial success.
